Sexual Harassment, Assault, Rape Prevention
Course Information S.H.A.R.P. is a basic defensive escape tactics course designed to assist women to manage and cope with issues and situations they can control.

The course is offered to women only. This course is offered to the public as well as private institutions.

Classroom lectures consist of information on prevention psychology; car, home and travel safety tips; profiling a victim, principles of avoidance and survival awareness.

Fees : $10 fee, w/ registration form, must be received prior to class. Checks ONLY, no cash or credit cards.
ONLY females, minimum 18 years of age, 16 & 17 years old permitted ONLY with guardian or parent in attendance.
Comfortable attire, for physical activities, and filled water bottle are recommended for all attendees.
Instruction to include:Prevention Psychology,Managing Professional Flirtatious Contact,Sexual Assault Countermeasures
A classroom session to be followed by an opportunity to practice physical techniques of escape and a basic striking system towards an attacker.


Disclaimer
This class will not examine legal issues regarding sexual harassment or attempt to analyze countless statistics on rape, profiles of a rapist , or the post rape procedures to preserve evidence. Instead, we will explore issues and management techniques surrounding both professional and personal harassment and prevention methods to avoid a criminal sexual assault. We do suggest that you familiarize yourself with the state statutes of Colorado regarding rape and sexual assault.
