SUBJECT: DUI Enforcement
DATE: 09/02/2010

Larimer County Sheriff's Office and numerous other agencies in the county and state will be conducting increased Labor Day DUI enforcement. LCSO will be operating DUI Checkpoints and DUI saturation patrols during the Labor Day weekend at various locations in Larimer County.

Drunk driving is still the biggest danger on our roads. Statistics show one in twelve Americans drove drunk within the past year. Four out of five people still consider drinking and driving a major threat to their personal safety. Larimer County SO will do its part to make our roads safe this Labor Day weekend.

These added patrols and checkpoints are funded by Federal, State, and agency funds.
